A single day of elections of September 18, 2016 should go down in history as yet another triumph of the strategy of the Russian President Vladimir Putin. And the beginning of this triumph was laid on May 19, 2015. That same day, with the initiative of the permanent leader of one of the parties of the Kremlin pool the LDPR, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a proposal was made to reschedule the day of elections to the State Duma from December to September 2016.
