ENTREPRENEURS ARE THE PEOPLE WHO DETERMINE THE FUTURE OF UKRAINE – AMELIN
We have gone from the collapse of the USSR, where small business did not exist at all, and reached the present day. In fact, for 70 years people were not engaged in business. Therefore, there was no historical memory, there were no skills, there were no teachers who could help with developing and transferring these skills. We can say that our small businesses have only begun to emerge since 1991.
As an opposite example, I will cite Turkey. The Turks did not lose their trading skills. They know how to trade, they are not afraid of it, they know foreign languages. They also help each other. An interesting feature – two Turks during the first minutes after meeting each other talk about business: “What do you have? I sell this and I sell this. I know this man, here are his contacts." They help each other by sharing communications all the time. And if the deal took place, default 5% of profit goes to the person who gave the contacts. The contract is not necessary for this, this is part of Turkish history.
